Just 11 days before Carter's 2nd birthday a brain scan revealed a tumor about the size of a small orange. He had surgery the next day and the tumor was successfully removed. (Thank you Dr. Spinosa and team!) 24 hours later he was bouncing on the crib bed; 48 hours later he was doing so well, they sent him home!

The lab results came a few days later... Carter has cancer....(PNET) Primitive Neuroectodermal Tumor. Now he starts months of aggressive chemotherapy. It won't be easy, but Carter Can Do It !!

One week after starting chemo, the second lab results came in....... the tumor was a very rare PNET called (ETANTR) Embryonal Tumors with Abundant Neuropil and True Rosettes.                                     JUNE 2014
Carter has come a long way. He's finally starting to eat a little- creamy foods    like ice cream! He even licked frosting off of his birthday cake! Way to go    Carter!!! (photos coming soon) Hopefully he'll be able to get rid of his tummy  tube by next year. Every check up he's had so far has said he's a healthy little  boy! His next brain scan is at the end of the month. Then it's off to Disney in  July! (thanks to Make-A-Wish and Give Kids the World)

Latest brain scan is....... ALL CLEAR !!!!!!

This site will end at the end of July 2014. Thank you for all of your support and  prayers!
